Question: Is it the case that we are required to be registered for research credit and therapy creit every semester? For example, this summer when I am registered for 4 credits of Neuroanatomy and 2 credits of core practica would I need to pay for a research credit if this is a requirement? I still plan to continue my research!!!
Answer: There IS a program requirement that students must be registered for a research credit each semester, as students are supposed to be continuously involved in research throughout their time in the program. However, as regards this specific situation, given the specific circumstances of this term (specific required course combination) it may be possible to avoid having to sign up for the research credit - at added cost to you. If you will write a brief paragraph describing the situation (that can serve as an informal petition) I will take this to the Curriculum Commitee for consideration.
